Sarasota Area beaches are world renowned and offer fantastic backdrops for your lifestyle and portrait sessions. West facing sunsets, sugary sands, jetties, grasses and tropical flora all add to the beauty of the beach.
While beach sessions can be magical, bear in mind that the beach may have unpredictable conditions even on a sunny day (high winds, crowds, high waves) and may not always be suitable for your vision.
Emerson Point
Emerson Point is on the south side of Tampa Bay and typically has calmer water than the beaches. Backdrops include a mound with stairs facing east and west, grasses, mangroves, sea grapes, small beaches, views of the Skyway, and shallow, calm bay water. Close to parking, however some paths might require stepping over branches, rocks, and/or wading.
Parking can be limited, and some locations are tide-dependent.
