Sarasota Area beaches are world renowned and offer fantastic backdrops for your lifestyle and portrait sessions. West facing sunsets, sugary sands, jetties, grasses and tropical flora all add to the beauty of the beach.
While beach sessions can be magical, bear in mind that the beach may have unpredictable conditions even on a sunny day (high winds, crowds, high waves) and may not always be suitable for your vision.
Beer Can Island
Beer Can Island is at the very north end of Longboat Key and visible from Coquina Beach. Driftwood, rocks, a pier and constantly changing environment make this location very unique. The beach access is tide-dependent and certain spots may be close to a mile from parking.
Parking is limited and crowds may be difficult to work around. Not suggested for sessions during spring break, weekends or busy season.
